Baba Bageshwar apologises after viral Ram-Krishna comparison
The Indian Express and Free Press Journal wrote that a video showed Bageshwar Dham head priest Dhirendra Shastri, known as Baba Bageshwar, comparing Lord Ram and Lord Krishna at a Ram Katha in Karera, Shivpuri. Free Press Journal dated the katha to 29 Oct. Indian Express printed him saying Krishna appears "crooked in three places" with crossed feet and a bent waist while playing the flute, while Ram "stands absolutely straight," and that "Playing the flute is a sport, but using the bow is no sport."
