Sam Altman faces backlash after calling RAM in PCs quite terrible

The New York Post, TechSpot, and TechRadar wrote that @sama said on the Cheeky Pint podcast it is "quite terrible" to have "a bunch of the world's limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer" and used about 5% of the time. All three printed him saying you want "maximum utilization in the cloud" in a "very supply constrained environment," and that many people's intuition is the opposite. NY Post wrote he was speaking with Stripe president John Collison. TechSpot wrote the remarks were about people running local open-source models on their own PCs.
